U of M Law School
Originally constructed in the 1970’s, later additions to the Law School provided needed space but resulted in poor circulation and ADA accessibility problems. The 38,000 sq ft 3 story addition to the existing 60,000 sq ft building provided a new entry, ADA accessibility, and clear circulation. Walking in the front door the main hallway leads directly to the Law Library, the heart of any Law School Building. Lecture halls, classrooms, faculty offices, and student learning areas make up the core program elements. The school was recognized in 2012 with an Excellence in Masonry Award.
