MSU Gaines Hall

Extensive teaching labs make up the 4 stories of this completely renovated structure. Taken down to its structure, the design team created a completely new building with modern labs and support spaces as well as the University’s largest 270 seat lecture hall. 80,000 sq ft of renovation and 10,000 sq ft of new construction, Gaines Hall was the University’s first LEED building, achieving Silver Certification. Modern in its design, the building integrated with the campus architecture utilizing brick masonry, glass, metal panels, and exposed steel structural detailing.
