Hamilton Fire Station
The Hamilton Fire Station is a state-of-the-art facility with 4 drive through apparatus bays, a hose and training tower, and living quarters. Serving the City of Hamilton, the new station replaces the 1906 station that originally had barn doors to store the original horse drawn fire apparatus. Located outside the historic downtown core of Hamilton, the design is modern in its use of materials. Brick, cement fiber panels installed in a rain-screen application, and flat roofs fit with the industrial neighborhood. Classic glass apparatus bay doors showcase the firefighting equipment.
